Acclaimed Bed and Breakfast

Denise and John welcome you to Quay House on Mylor Creek which is open every day of the year, including Christmas Day. We are located at the head of the creek with Mylor and Falmouth harbour about a mile down river.

Mylor Bridge is a thriving village which still has a Post Office, a well stocked grocers where fresh bread and rolls are baked every morning, an excellent butcher with a superb selection of meat – who makes the best “hand made” Cornish pasties we have tasted!

Other shops in the village are a newsagent, hairdressers, and fishmonger. There is also a dentist, and a doctor’s ‘walk in’ surgery.

The Lemon Arms is a welcoming village pub in the heart of Mylor Bridge. It serves very good meals at lunch time and evenings. The sixteenth century world famous Pandora Inn about a mile away, has historic HMS Bounty mutineers connections and specializes in attractive food in a waterside setting on Restronguet Creek.

There is a choice of places to eat within walking distance of Quay House and an interesting variety in the town of Falmouth and the city of Truro.
